👟 Approved Footwear

Players may wear:

• Turf Boots
• Futsal Shoes
• Any other non-marking soled shoes

⚽ Please note: footwear will perform differently depending on the court surface, so choose what feels most comfortable and provides the best grip for your game.

NO STUDDED BOOTS ALLOWED

For safety reasons, shoes must be non-marking at all times.

Outdoor (artificial turf / astro turf) surfaces

We recommend "turf boots", with a sole similar to the image below, for maximum grip on artificial turf surfaces.

Indoor (hard court) surfaces

For indoor surfaces we recommend the tranditional 'futsal boot' which has a non-marking rubber sole for maximum grip on smooth surfaces.

🕒 Junior (U6-U16) Game Times

Junior competition (U6-U16) games are scheduled at:

• 4.30pm
• 5.00pm
• 5:30pm
• 6.00pm
• 6:30pm

⏱️ Game times will rotate each week, so teams should expect some variation throughout the season.

🕒 Senior (U18+) Game Times

Senior competition (U18+) games are scheduled at:

• 7:00pm
• 7:45pm
• 8:30pm

⏱️ Game times will rotate each week, so teams should expect some variation throughout the season.

🚫 Late Games

We will avoid 9:15pm timeslots wherever possible and will only use them if absolutely unavoidable.

📩 Time Requests

If your team cannot play at certain times, please let us know. NBFA will always do its best to accommodate requests.

However, please understand that while we will try to be fair and flexible, we cannot guarantee every request due to multiple team preferences and scheduling requirements.

Please note that if a competition exceeds the maximum number of teams that can be accommodated at a single venue, matches for that competition may be played across more than one venue.

NBFA Summer 2026 Season Duration

Get ready for a huge winter of Futsal! ⚽🔥

All NBFA Summer 2026 competitions kick off the week of September 7th, 2026.

🗓 NEW Season Format

• 13 Rounds of competition
• PLUS 1 Week of Finals (for teams that finish in the Top 4 🏆)

Every game counts — push for that Finals spot!

The 2026 season will commence in the week beginning 7 September 2026.

There will be a break during the first week of the school holidays (week beginning 28 September 2026).

Two weather catch-up weeks have been scheduled for Saturday, 28 November 2026, and Saturday, 5 December 2026, should they be required due to washouts.

The final regular season round will be played in the week beginning 7 December 2026, with finals taking place in the week beginning 14 December 2026.

This schedule applies to all competitions, except U10 Boys, which will conclude one week earlier.

🚫 Public Holidays

We do not play on Public Holidays.

These are scheduled break weeks only — no games are lost. All fixtures will still be played across the season. 👍
